“OH! MODE”は、高校生の頃、サンフランシスコで初めて手に入れたUS版 VOGUEとの衝撃的な出会いから生まれました。 “これがモード？！なんてかっこいいんだろう！“ 素敵な匂いのする香水の広告ページ。 その香に酔いながら、何もかもが新鮮でした。 その後すぐ、VOGUE NIPPON（当時はJAPANではなくNIPPONだった）が創刊。 あんまり嬉しくて、少ないおこずかいで２冊買いました。 未希とケイト・モスが表紙を飾った創刊号は、今もまだ宝物として大切にしています。 そのころからずっと私の人生を彩ってくれた、モードというファッションへの憧れ。 モードは、難しく考えなくていい。 モードとは、それぞれがかっこいい、と思うこと。 疲れて探したバッグの中の鍵に、お気に入りのキーリングが付いていたり、 朝起きて、おしゃれなイラストレーションが壁にかかっていたり、 かっこいいユニークなイヤリングをつけて出かけたり。 自分らしいファッションで身を包んだ日は上を向ける。 全部じゃなくていい。むしろ全部ではなくて、いつもの自分に少しだけ。 それだけで、かっこいい、楽しい自分を見つけられる。 OH! MODE! は、”日常にちょっとモードを” をコンセプトに立ち上げたブランドです。 いつもの日常の中に、ちょっとしたモードな遊び心をプラスしてもらえるような、 そんなアイテムを提案しています。 日常に取り入れやすい”モード”を楽しんでいただきたい。 そう思って日々宝石を探すような気持ちで楽しんで創作しています。 ショップオーナー兼クリエーター: アオキマキコ 大学卒業後、メーカー、出版社勤務。マサモードアカデミーオブアート（Masa Mode Academy of Art）、セツモード（Setsu Mode Seminar）を卒業。現在フリーのクリエーター、ファッションイラストレーターとして活動中。 イラストのインスタはこちら→https://www.instagram.com/makiko_aoki21/ “OH!MODE” comes from my shocking encounter with VOGUE US in San Francisco in my high-school days. ‘Is this what is called MODE?!’ ‘How cool!’ Everything in the magazine was impressive and fresh to me. Especially, an ad page for perfume was releasing a lovely aroma. I was intoxicated by the scent coming from the page. It was not long before that VOGUE NIPPON (NIPPON instead JAPAN) was launched. I was so delighted that I soon bought two books with my small pocket money. MIKI and Kate Moss made the cover of the first issue. I still have one of them as my treasure. Since that time the longing for MODE has been enriching my life in many ways. In my mind MODE is nothing that you have to take seriously. MODE is something that each of you feel cool in your own way. Imagine how you will feel … when you finally find the key with your favorite key-ring in the bag, if you notice a new tapestry of stylish illustration on the wall when you awake, or when you go out dressing yourself up in your own way with your favorite unique earrings. You will feel a sign of happy time coming, won’t you? You don’t have to be perfect to be fashionable. It’s fine to add only a little spice on your fashion and eventually it will lead to your fun life. OH! MODE! is the brand launched based on the concept of “Just a little MODE for your daily life”. I would like to propose you such items as to help you add a little MODE. I enjoy creating my work just like hunting for precious stones.
